Bed, kitchen and toilet linen is the core of Bangladesh's home-textile trade: US$405 million in FY2025-26, led by cotton terry towels and kitchen linen, printed cotton bed linen and other cotton bed linen. EPB's wider home-textile group, which also counts tents and sacks, grew 6.5% to US$928 million.

Brazil imported US$143 million of bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen in 2025, mainly from China, Paraguay, India and Pakistan; Bangladesh supplied 0.17%. Brazil also bought US$123 million of bedding and quilts and US$377 million of made-up textiles of all kinds (HS 63).

Brazil's duty is 35% on bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen and on carpets; bedding and quilts pay 16.2%. The additional COFINS-Importação applies to made-up textiles.

OEKO-TEX, GOTS and the Textile Exchange standards have public registers that buyers can check. Portuguese-language labelling is mandatory for imported products, so agree label content with your buyer before production.
