Ahead of the June expo in São Paulo, BBCCI took the Made in Bangladesh Expo 2025 to Rangpur and Chattogram.
After the Dhaka launch on 8 January, the Brazil Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BBCCI) took the Made in Bangladesh Expo 2025 to business communities outside the capital.
On 18 January 2025, the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a promotion meeting in its auditorium. Brazil's Deputy Head of Mission in Dhaka, Leonardo de Oliveira Jannuzzi, attended as chief guest, and Rangpur Chamber President Md Akbar Ali also spoke. Mr Jannuzzi said Brazil can be a gateway for Bangladeshi businesses to other Latin American markets, such as Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia.
BBCCI's plan for the expo includes meetings with divisional chambers of commerce in the first months of 2025.
The second edition was tentatively planned as a three-day programme between 20 and 30 November 2026. Final dates, venue and fees will be announced.
BBCCI opened the first edition at the Novotel São Paulo Center Norte on 16 June 2025, with speeches from its leadership and Bangladeshi diplomats present.
At a press conference in Dhaka, BBCCI announced the first Made in Bangladesh Expo, to be held in São Paulo on 15–18 June 2025.
