The sector in detail
BBCCI's list ends with eco products and other exportable items — products outside the other sectors on the list. Eco products have no category of their own in the trade statistics, so exhibitors should show the material, the certificates and the test reports behind any environmental claim.
Among Bangladesh's other exports in FY2025-26 were cotton and cotton products (US$502 million), optical, photographic and medical instruments (US$84 million, including US$31 million of spectacle frames) and rubber goods (US$54 million).
Some of these already reach Brazil. Brazil's data show US$2.0 million of instruments imported from Bangladesh in 2025 — mainly medical instruments, plus spectacle frames and spectacles — and US$0.5 million of bicycle tyres.
Duties vary by product: most medical instruments pay 14.4% (some 0%), spectacle frames 16.2% and bicycle tyres 25% until May 2027.
